Certified Elder law Attorney Patrick G. Curley to Offer Medicaid Protection Presentation”, March 31, 2009

Wakefield, MA – On Thursday, April 9th, Attorney Patrick G. Curley will offer an educational presentation at Pilgrim Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on “Changes in Medicaid Law: Legal steps you can take to protect yourself, your family and your assets”. Free to the public, complimentary refreshments and snacks will be available at 5:00 p.m. and the presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m.

This presentation will offer proven strategies seniors can put in place today to protect themselves for the future. Attorney Curley will review the major changes in Medicaid laws, the role of Trusts, the importance of avoiding guardianship, the benefits and limitations of a Homestead Declaration, and the legal impact of different forms of real estate ownership. Whether you (or an elder family member) are pre-planning or in the midst of crisis, this session will give you valuable actions you can implement immediately.
