Debbie joined Curley Law Firm in 2006 after having worked in law firms since 1987. She earned her Paralegal Certificate from Newbury College and an Associate of Science Degree in Medical Records Administration from Mass Bay Community College.

At Curley Law Firm, Debbie has become an expert in Elder Law practice support. First-time callers quickly become acquainted with Debbie as she gently speaks with them about their planning issues and helps walk them through the process of scheduling an Initial Consultation.

  • As the firm’s Client Services Director, Debbie serves as our primary liaison with clients and their families. She offers a perfect mix of vast elder experience and knowledge as well as unlimited compassion and desire to serve.
  • As the firm’s Public Benefits Specialist, Debbie works with our Attorneys to help clients access Elder-care resources and benefits and to secure funding for those services.
  • She attends ongoing Paralegal continuing education programs including those offered by the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and other continuing education providers.

Debbie treats every client like she would her own family member. She has tremendous empathy for the challenges elders and their family members face when navigating the fragmented health care and long term care worlds. And, she feels great satisfaction when she helps obtain benefits and services for clients and their families.

In her spare time, Debbie is an active member of the Back Yard Gardeners and the Melrose Humane Society. She and her husband Charlie enjoy caring for their cats and improving the lives of all animals they encounter.
