Staff Biographies

Debbie - Senior Paralegal, Client Services Director & Public Benefits Specialist

Debbie joined Curley Law Firm in 2006 after having worked in law firms since 1987. She received her paralegal certificate from Newbury College and her Associate of Science Degree in medical record administration from Mass Bay Community College.

At Curley Law Firm, Debbie has continued to develop her expertise in elder law practice support. She has attended paralegal training programs offered by the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and other continuing education providers. Debbie treats every client like she would her own family member. She has tremendous empathy for the challenges elders and their family members face when navigating the fragmented health care and long term care worlds. And, she feels great satisfaction when she helps obtain benefits and services for clients and their families.

As the firm's Client Services Director, Debbie serves as Curley Law Firm’s primary liaison with clients and their families. In addition, as the firm’s Public Benefits Specialist, Debbie helps clients access elder-care resources and secure funding for those services.

In her spare time, Debbie is an active member of the Back Yard Gardeners and the Melrose Humane Society. She and her husband Charlie enjoy caring for their cats and improving the lives of all animals they encounter.

Sue Hall - Paralegal

Sue joined Curley Law Firm in early 2008 with fifteen years of legal experience, ranging from Senior Legal Assistant to Professional Paralegal specializing in probate and family law. She received her Professional Paralegal Certificate from Northeastern University.

Sue works directly with Attorney Mark Curley and strives to provide exceptional service to his clients in all areas of his estate planning and probate practice.

In addition to spending time with her children, Sue is a Dare Family Services mentor, providing support to new foster parents and a volunteer educational advocate for the MA Department of Social Services.

Jackie Curley - Accountant, Computer Program Analyst & Chief Financial Officer

Jackie serves Curley Law Firm in these three critical areas of expertise. Her expertise in several different software programs including QuickBooks, Excel, TimeSlips and BillingMatters is a vital cog in the success of the day-to-day management of the office.

Previously Jackie was Financial Manager of Women's Action for New Directions and WAND Education Fund for twelve years.

Jackie enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, golfing, sea kayaking off Rockport, MA, and reading.

Jillian - Paralegal & Community Relations and Marketing Director

Jillian joined Curley Law Firm LLP at the end of 2008 after moving to the Boston area from Long Island, New York. She obtained her Bachelor's degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and her Paralegal Certificate at Suffolk County Community College in New York. Acting as both the firm's receptionist and paralegal, Jillian provides technical and administrative support for the rest of the team. Jillian also serves as Community Relations and Marketing Director. Additionally, Jillian is a novice quilter and enjoys visiting the many museums and historic sites in New England
