Attorney Patrick Curley to Teach Seniors How to Save Their Homes and Savings”, May 26, 2009
Wakefield, MA – On Tuesday, June 16th, the Melrose Council on Aging will sponsor a free presentation by Attorney Patrick G. Curley entitled “Protect your Home and Savings against Medicaid: Secrets the Rich have known for Decades”. The presentation will take place at The Milano Senior Center, 201 West Foster Street, Melrose at 1:30 p.m.
The presentation will focus on specific strategies seniors can put in place today to protect their homes and their savings against the potentially devastating costs of nursing home care.
“Based upon poor advice or misconceptions, many people have given up hope that they can successfully protect their hard-earned savings and their homes,” said Attorney Curley, “but my mission is to teach seniors what the rich have known all along: that with careful planning, you can regain control over your future and protect your assets.”
“Another common myth is that if someone is already in a nursing home, it is too late to protect anything,” said Attorney Curley. “While advance planning is always most effective, at the presentation I will explain why it is never too late to take action and still preserve and protect your money.”
